Add a New Adjustment Manually

To add a new adjustment, under the
Apply New Adjustment
 tab select the applicable type.
Adjustment type
Description
Adjustment prorated across all selected lines
Adjustment will be applied and prorated across all lines selected within the grid
Adjustments manually entered at detail level
Grid will open up editable boxes for adjustments to be applied manually line by line
Once the applicable type has been selected, fill out the required information for the adjustment:
Adjustment Fields
Description
Name
Type in a name for the adjustment. This name is not sent to US Customs, and should be something that will help differentiate different adjustments when reviewing
I acknowledge changes may override existing classifications.
Click this checkbox when making Classification changes
New Classification
Type the new HTS Classification number (if applicable).

Only fill out this field if selecting the
Adjustment prorated across all selected lines
 option.
I acknowledge value adjustments will be added to existing adjustments.
Click this checkbox to make value changes
New Value
Type in the new value to apply to the lines (please note that this value should represent the Delta change from the original value).

Only fill out this field if selecting the
Adjustment prorated across all selected lines
 option.
HTS Changed due to value change
Click this checkbox if the Classification changes due to value changes (for value-based classifications)
Comments
Add comments describing the reason for the change

Apply a Prorated Adjustment

To apply an adjustment to prorate across various lines.
  1. Select the applicable lines in the grid onscreen either by checking the boxes individually, or choosing a mass action from the Select dropdown, as shown below.
    tip
    You are able to filter the grid to find relevant lines to then select for adjustment application.
  2. Once all lines are selected, click on
    Apply across entry lines
    ”.

Apply Adjustment at Detail Line

To apply an adjustment manually at the detail line level.
  1. Select the line you wish to apply the adjustment to and type in the relevant box to apply the adjustment.
  2. Once all detail line items have been added, click on
    Apply
    .
