What it is
We have made a number of updates to the process of creating approval requests within the MLA tool, which are listed below:
- Ability to withdraw an approval – users will be able to withdraw and approval they completed, if needed, before the workflow moves onto the next approval step, allowing for more control over the decision making process for approvals.
- Expected Approval DateandUrgentflag - these two additional fields have been added to the request header to allow requesters to more adequately flag urgent requests for more effective prioritision.

These updates enhance the overall request review process, as well as provide better prioritisation in order to review more urgent requests first
Improved request tracking with updated grid

User management capabilities for access control
What it is
The users tab within the MLA screen was enhanced to allow addition and editing of user information as well as adding in start and expiration date for users, if needed. The start and expiration dates are non-required fields, but help to manage and expire users from having access to the MLA screens as needed
Benefit to you
This feature grants MLA Admins full control of the MLA user matrix to keep the correct user list in place for requests and approvals
Group email notifications for improved request visibility
What it is
The ability to add in “group” emails has been added into the MLA screen to enable email notifications for that specific email distribution list. Admins can leverage the “Is notification group” field to identify groups, and once setup that group email will receive the standard email notifications on requests status

The feature enhancement allows for greater visibility within an organization on the status of requests that are relevant to a particular business unit.
