Free Trade Agreement (FTA)

SPP allows for the ability to include multiple products on the SPP DOO

What it is
: In the latest update to the Supplier Product Portal (SPP), we have introduced a significant enhancement to the process of declaring product origin. Historically, SPP required that each product have its own declaration of origin created. With the new update, you can now create declarations of origin for multiple products simultaneously. This change is available from version 2.5 onwards. To use this new feature, simply navigate to the
Declaration Management
section of the
SPP
, and select the
Create Multi-Product Declaration
option. Follow the prompts to add multiple products to a single declaration form. This feature is designed to be intuitive, but should you need assistance, refer to the updated user guide available in the Help section.
Benefit to you
: This update greatly simplifies the process of managing product compliance. By allowing you to create multi-product declarations, the new feature helps you save time and reduce the potential for errors. This streamlined approach enhances your productivity and allows you to focus more on your core business activities.

FTA Analyzer Changes

What it is
: We have updated the
FTA Analyzer
to incorporate the
country of origin
. This means that all reports that show the country of import and the country of export will now also include the country of origin. Most FTAs do not allow for transshipment of goods, so, in order to ensure we are not over-identifying possible savings, identified FTAs will only be shown if all three countries (import, export, and origin) are included in the FTA.nt.
Benefit to you
: This enhancement allows for a more accurate identification of applicable FTAs, significantly reducing the risk of incorrect savings claims associated with transshipment issues. You will benefit from a more comprehensive and reliable analysis, ensuring better compliance and optimization of trade benefits.

FTA Analyzer Reports

What it is
: We have updated
FTA Analyzer
to incorporate
country of origin
. This update affects all reports detailing
country of import
and
country of export
by adding origin information. To ensure accuracy in identifying applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), only those FTAs where the import, export, and origin countries are all included will be identified. Additionally, enhancements to the
product level report
have been implemented to improve visibility into calculated savings.
Benefit to you
: This update empowers you with more precise and reliable FTA analysis by incorporating the crucial element of origin, ensuring compliance and maximizing potential savings. The refined
product level report
further aids in transparently understanding how savings are calculated, enabling better decision-making and strategic planning in your trade operations.
