Search – Multi-HTS Views

What it is
: FTZ Search has been updated to add new sources that will include the Multi-HTS tariff numbers associated with a product. Ship PC MultiHTS, Ship PC Hist MultiHTS, Remaining Inventory MultiHTS, Receipt Hist MultiHTS and FIFO Processing MultiHTS are available for you to utilize. Chose your source, columns, and parameters as you always have. The columns will now include the data for all of the HTS Sequence numbers. New Preparation Validations – Chapter 99 Alerts

What it is
: During the Preparation/Validation process, you will be alerted if your foreign receipt or up adjustment transactions are missing potentially required chapter 99 HTS numbers. Some validations are set as hard stop errors when we know for certain you need.

Initiate Inventory Processing – Shipment IMCR Application

What it is
: During the Initiate Inventory Processing/Process FIFO step, we will apply missing chapter 99 HTS numbers to shipment or down adjustment transactions in the current daily processing transactions that have inventory layers with matching IMCR rules. We encourage you to update your IMCR rules with missing chapter 99’s for your existing inventory layers. Doing this will minimize your need for support to help correct your layers with the chapter 99’s when you file your 7501 Entry Summaries.

7501 Report Generation and Lookup– Chapter 99 Alerts

What it is
: During the Reports/CF7501 Weekly Entry generation process, you will now have the opportunity to add any potentially missing additional tariff numbers. If the
Apply IMCR
box is checked, the generate functionality will utilize existing Item Master Custom Rules (IMCR) to apply any missing additional tariffs where there is a match to the current shipments on 7501 Entry Summary. If you would like the opportunity to review any potentially missing additional tariffs before you generate the entry, you can click the
Review Missing Additional Tariffs
link. This link will direct you to the
FTZ Unprinted Shipments Missing Additional Tariffs
Lookup. This Lookup will run validations against your Unprinted 7501 to identify any potentially missing additional tariffs from the entry. You can then add any new IMCR rules you would like, and we will apply these new rules during your next 7501 generate if you check the
Apply IMCR
on your 7501 entry. The
FTZ Unprinted Shipments Missing Additional Tariffs
Lookup only validates unprinted 7501’s, so if you have already generated your entry and you want to utilize the lookup, please Unprint your 7501 first. If you would like to change any incorrectly applied additional tariffs, please visit the Post Summary Correction (PSC) page to update already applied tariffs. At this time, this functionality will only change one current HTS to another. It will not remove any tariffs already applied.

Lookup – FTZ Unprinted Shipments Missing Additional Tariffs

What it is
: A new lookup has been added to the ‘FTZ Processing Audit Lookup” menu. It is called
FTZ Unprinted Shipments Missing Additional Tariffs
. This lookup will allow you to review HTS numbers on your 7501’s that have potentially missing chapter 99 HTS. You can utilize this lookup to help you create new IMCR rules for parts on your 7501’s that may have potentially needed Chapter 99 HTS numbers. If you add IMCR rules, then the next time you generate your 7501 Report, we will add any chapter 99 HTS numbers that match to your IMCR rules. We encourage you to review this lookup throughout the week and update your IMCR rules with the missing chapter 99’s for your entries. This will save you time when you actually need to file your 7501 for the week.Please note that our validations are kept as up to date as possible. The information changes quickly and we strive to update our validations as soon as possilbe when changes occur. There could always be a delay while we research, though so please ensure you are watching government guidance closely and applying the additional tariffs you need to support your requirements.
