IMCR Report Quantity for Chapter 99 HTS and Split Derivative/Content Reporting

What it is
: Enhancements have been made to the IMCR screen, to add the fields ‘Weight”, "HTS UOM (Unit of Measurement) Conversion Factor" and "Additional HTS UOM (Unit of Measurement) Conversion Factor". These fields are designed to support chapter 99 HTS numbers that have UOM reqporting requirements. In addition, we now have the functionality to capture/report 232 derivatives with a portion that is metal and non-metal. The Unit Value or Value Percent fields are where you can report different values for the content portions. As well as for products that have 20% or more US content. For more information on how and when to utilize the additional new fields and how to fill out the IMCR screen for various Multi-HTS stacking scenarios, see the Item Master Custom Rules (IMCR) help and support article. Please note, the change as of June 4, 2025 (CSMS 65236374 and 65236645) to require the non-steel and aluminum content of an article reported on a separate line as Reciprocal tariffs HTS 9903.01.25 has not yet been implemented. This is being updated now and we will alert you as soon as that new requirement is in place.
Benefit to you
: This update will ensure that the quantity data you report to customs is accurate and compliant with the new regulations.
