User updates for transition from IEEPA to Section 122

To assist with the transition from
IEEPA
to
Section 122
tariffs, we are providing an optional user update. This update is designed as a
mass maintenance tool
to help reduce manual effort. You may choose to use this update or manage your IMCR rules manually if preferred.

Deactivate IEEPA IMCR rules

Where can this update be found
  • Found under
    Tools > User Updates
  • The name of the user update is:
    • 000 - Deactivate IEEPA IMCR Rules
What this update does
When this update is run, the system will:
  • Identify
all active Item Master Custom Rules (IMCR)
    that include
IEEPA tariffs but are not matching on IEEPA tariffs
(as those could still be relevant for historical updates)
  • Deactivate those rules
    by setting the
End Effective Date to February 23, 2026
No new rules are created as part of this update.
When to use this update
This option is intended for users who:
  • Want to
fully control the creation of their own Section 122 IMCR rules
  • Prefer to
manually insert or upload new Section 122 rules
rather than have the system create them
After running this update, you will then be responsible for ensuring that appropriate Section 122 IMCR rules are created and active for entries on or after February 24, 2026.
important
This user update is an
optional tool that is provided for convenience
. It is not required.
  • You may instead
manually update or upload IMCR rules
based on your own processes and preferences. If you choose this route, our mass user update tools will not utilize your manual or uploaded deactivations. Our user updates will only work on the rules we are mass updating.
Regardless of the approach chosen, you are responsible for ensuring your IMCR configuration correctly reflects applicable
Section 122 requirements
for entries on or after February 24, 2026.
At this time, we are still in the process of refining an additional user update that will deactivate and create Section 122 IMCR rules from existing IEEPA IMCR rules. You may continue to wait for this additional user update to be completed (ETA the next few days), or you may use the deactivation rule above for the IEEPA and upload your Section 122 manually. Please note that you can use the deactivation rule above and then also utilize the second user update to create Section 122 IMCR rules from existing IEEPA IMCR rules.
