ABI: AD/CVD Query - Overview and New Query Requirements

The
AD/CVD Query
screen is used for querying specific Antidumping (AD) or Countervailing (CVD) case information from the ACE AD/CVD Case Management System.
This screen can be opened by choosing
AD/CVD Query
from the
ABI
menu.
In addition, ABI filers also have the capability to query Antidumping/Countervailing case information by country, tariff number, foreign manufacturer, and foreign exporter.
Along with this is a provided case status or the most recent date (within the last 7 days) since a change was made to case information. Information returned in the query output will include data required by ABI filers to facilitate successful filing of Antidumping or Countervailing duty entry summaries in ACE.
This feature allows users to query information by two types of Antidumping/Countervailing Duty query criteria:
Information
Description
By Case Number
Uses a specific Antidumping/Countervailing Duty case number query. This query can be used for anywhere from one to five case numbers.
By Criteria
Uses status, country, HTS or TSUSA Number, manufacturer, foreign exporter, or date since case information was last updated. Status is required for this option.

New Query Requirements

New AD/CVD Query Requirements: By Case Number
Description
Case Number
The code used to identify an Antidumping/Countervailing Duty case as assigned by the Department of Commerce. The Case Number may be entered as seven or ten digits and must be alphanumeric code only, no special characters or spaces.
New AD/CVD Query Requirements: By Criteria
Description
Status
The status of the Antidumping/Countervailing Duty case. This criteria is mandatory for all queries of this type. The
Status
value will be one of the following listed below:
  • A
  • I
  • B
  • Active
  • Inactive
  • Both
Country
The two-character alphabetic ISO Country Code for the Antidumping/Countervailing Duty case.
HTS Number
A valid 8-digit or 10-digit tariff number located in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.
TSUSA Number
A valid 5-digit or 7-digit tariff number located in the Tariff Schedule of the United States Annotated (TSUSA).
MID
The Manufacturer Identification Code (MID) for a foreign manufacturer as assigned to one or more Antidumping/Countervailing Duty cases.
Foreign Exporter ID
The Foreign Exporter Identification Code as assigned to one or more Antidumping/Countervailing Duty cases.
Date Since Last Update
A date used to limit query output responses to only cases where any element of the output data records changed within the date parameters.
