7512 Outbound

The
7512 Outbound
screen is used for creating, modifying, and printing 7512 Outbound Movement forms for each zone-to-zone, foreign, or other special bonded shipment out of the zone. This screen can be opened by choosing
7512 Outbound
from the
Forms
menu. This report can only be run for one selected zone/partner at a time. This screen produces the following two reports:
Report types
Description
7512 Outbound Movement
Reports to US Customs the required tracking information for each product shipped from the zone. A separate 7512 Outbound Movement will be generated for each shipped product. Reported product information includes Volume, Weight, API Gravity, and Value. The system generates this report directly from the
Export Header
and
Ship MP
tables.
Bonded Movement Pro Forma
Reports to US Customs which 214 FTZ Admission documents were assigned to the shipment. The system generates this report directly from the report tables populated from the transaction tables.
Upon loading, the screen will load the most recent 7512 Outbound Movement form. After the 7512 transaction has been matched with an interface record, the 7512 cannot be canceled. The weight and volume of the shipment should also not be changed. After the 7512 transaction has been matched with an interface record; the Weight, Volume, and API Gravity cannot be changed. The UIN report for determining foreign receipts (both existing and new receipts) will be produced as part of the Inventory Layers report.

Command Buttons

The
CBP 7512 Outbound Movement
screen contains the following command buttons at the top of the screen:

Description
Add Entry
This link is used to create a new entry. If clicked, the system will create a new 7512 Outbound Movement based on the data currently on the screen. You can also designate which receipts currently in inventory will be reserved against the shipment.
Save
Saves any changes made to the fields on the screen without printing a 7512 Outbound Movement form.
Generate
Clicking this link will produce the 7512 Outbound Movement form and the Bonded Movement Pro Forma based on the data displayed on the screen. Before producing the reports, the system will update all corresponding values in the Shipment MP and Reservations table if any data has been changed.
After the form(s) are produced, you can click on the newly created report link(s) to view the report(s) in a separate browser tab.
Documents
Clicking this link will open the
Document Retention
pop-up. You can use this feature to attach associated documents to the 7512 Outbound Movement. Examples include:
  • Bill of Lading
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Certificate of Origin
  • General Document
  • Safety Data Sheets
Exit
Closes the 7512 Outbound screen without saving the newly entered data.
However, the shell created by clicking
Add Entry
, along with any information that was saved or printed prior to clicking
Exit
, will be retained.

Critical Data Entry Fields

The below data entry fields are critical and cannot be omitted.

Description
Entry Number
This number is assigned by the broker. This field can be edited by you and is not part of the drop-down selection. If a reservation is created before the
Entry Number
is entered, and the
Entry Number
is entered later (e.g. getting an error when trying to Generate), this field will be saved correctly, and the Pro Forma will not be blank.
Shipment Number
This number is used to populate the unique values in the drop-down for each shipment. This field will display as
ITYYMMDD-999

API Calculator

When the API for a product is 0 (zero) and the volume and weight are populated, the system will attempt to recalculate the API when

is clicked.
In this situation, use the
API Calculator
in the
Tools
menu to calculate the correct weight for the given volume and an API of 0, then enter all three values on the 214 FTZ Admission form. More information about the

section of this Help Center.

Do not click
Calc API
on the 214 FTZ Admission screen and then save the form.
