Concurrence Summary

The
Concurrence Summary
screen is used to review responses from CBP in further detail, including any errors that may occur during the Permit to Transfer, Arrival of Goods, Manifest Concurrence, or Operator Concurrence. This screen can be opened by choosing
Concurrence
Summary from the
ABI
menu.
See below for a list of statuses that can appear regarding transmitted concurrences:
Status
Description
Transmitting
The concurrence is in the process of being transmitted to CBP.
Transmitted
The concurrence successfully transmitted to CBP.
Accepted
CBP accepted the transmission.
Rejected
CBP rejected the transmission.
Final
This transmission has been finalized. No further changes can be made.

Reviewing CBP Responses

To review further details on a transmission, choose a transmission from the grid. Click
Replies
.
This will open the
Concurrence Replies
screen, which will display the Disposition Code for the reply. The Disposition Code is used to explain the error that occurred within CBP’s system.
To view the details, click
Detail
.
This will open the
Concurrence Reply Detail
screen, showing the data as it was submitted to CBP.

Resolving an Error

To resolve the error, return to
Concurrence Summary
.
Find the line item to be corrected, and then click
Detail
.
Make the changes necessary according to the error message received from CBP and retransmit.
After the transmission is accepted, the status on the
Concurrence Summary
screen will update to show as
Accepted
.
You can click
Replies
to view the CBP reply messages received for that PTT. CBP will send a message to the carrier to inform them that the goods can be moved to the zone.
For non-direct Delivery 214s, a copy of the message will also be posted under
ABI Concurrence Replies
.
