Manufacturer ID
The
Manufacturer ID
screen is used for maintaining and updating Manufacturer information. This screen displays all the Manufacturer IDs (MIDs) utilized by the subzone, and allows you to add, modify, or delete MIDs as needed. This screen can be opened by choosing Manufacturer ID
from the Maintenance
menu.Information that is provided for update includes name, address, and an indicator for whether or not the manufacturer has a relationship with the subzone. This data is used for Customs reporting purposes.
Adding a New Manufacturer
To add a new manufacturer, click
Add Record
.
A new line will appear at the top of the grid. Enter the information, ensuring that the new item is unique from another entry in the system. When finished, click
Insert
. The new record will then appear in the grid.
Modifying an Existing Manufacturer
To edit a manufacturer, choose a manufacturer from the grid and click
Edit
on the far left.
At the top of the grid, the fields for this record will become editable. Make the necessary changes and click
Update
.
Deleting an Existing Manufacturer
To delete a manufacturer, choose a manufacturer from the grid and click
Delete
on the left.
