Product Master
screen is used for updating product information. This screen displays all products utilized by the subzone and allows you to add, update, or delete information about a product.This screen can be opened by choosing
Product Master
from the Maintenance
menu.Information that is provided for update includes default information such as typical status, Country of Origin, and Manufacturer ID (MID) for the product.
This is not to say that the product cannot be admitted to a zone with different information; but if none is given, the system uses this as a validation default.
Other information for update includes product class and category based upon given APIs, Volume, and Weight Units of Measure for the product (critical for accurate quantity reporting) and HTSUS classification for the product, also based upon given APIs.
