After completing and saving the
Can [PG28]
tab, proceed to the Commodity [PG29]
tab.The
Commodity [PG29]
tab correlates with the PG29 Record of the PGA Message Set. This is a conditional PGA input record that provides data pertaining to the cargo’s net or gross unit of measure. 
The following links are located at the top left corner of this section:
Links | Description |
|---|---|
Save | Save any data that was added or changed since the most recent save in Edit Mode. |
Cancel | Discard all changes made after the most recent save. The tab will revert to Read Only Mode. |
Edit | Activate Edit Mode so any necessary additions/modifications can be made to the open record. This action will only be made available once one or more records exist on the tab. |
Add New | Add a new record. This action will only be made available once one or more records exist on the tab. |
Delete | Delete the selected record. This action will only be made available once one or more records exist on the tab. |
If PG29 data is required, enter the appropriate information in the fields listed below:

Line Net UOM | Pertaining to the overall PGA Line Number, the indication of the unit of measurement in which weight, capacity, length, area, volume or other quantity is expressed. “Unit of Measure (PGA line-net)” in this position is associated with “Commodity Net Quantity (PGA line-net)” and is required when “Commodity Net Quantity (PGA line-net)” is reported. Valid Unit of Measure codes are listed in Appendix C of the ACS ABI CATAIR. |
Line Net Quantity | Pertaining to the overall PGA Line Number, excluding all packing and packaging. “Commodity Net Quantity (PGA line-net)” is required when “Unit of Measure (PGA line-net)” is reported. |
Line Gross UOM | Pertaining to the overall PGA Line Number, the indication of the unit of measurement in which weight, capacity, length, area, volume or other quantity is expressed. “Unit of Measure (PGA line-gross)” in this position is associated with “Commodity Gross Quantity (PGA line- gross)” and is required when “Commodity Gross Quantity (PGA line-gross)” is reported. Valid Unit of Measure codes are listed in Appendix C of the ACS ABI CATAIR. |
Line Gross Quantity | Pertaining to the overall PGA Line Number; including any packaging, but excluding weight of the carrier's equipment. “Commodity Gross Quantity (PGA line-gross)” is required when “Unit of Measure (PGA line-gross)” is reported. |
Individual Net UOM | Pertaining to the Individual unit (net), the indication of the unit of measurement in which weight, capacity, length, area, volume or other quantity is expressed. “Unit of Measure (Individual unit-net)” in this position is associated with “Commodity Net Quantity (Individual unit-net)” and is required when “Commodity Net Quantity (Individual unit-net)” is reported. Valid Unit of Measure codes are listed in Appendix C of the ACS ABI CATAIR. |

After all required data has been entered, click
Save
and proceed to the Inspection

If you do not click
Save
before you move to the next tab, you will lose all of the data under the tab and will then need to re-enter it.
