PGA Header [PG01] Overview
When editing or creating new PGA data for a product, you will always start on the
PGA Header [PG01]
tab. The upper section of the PGA Header
tab correlates with the 01 Record of the PGA Message set. The 01 record is a generic description record in the PGA message set. Only one 01 Record is allowed per HTS code.The following links are located at the top left corner of this section:
Links | Description |
|---|---|
Save | Save any data that was added or changed since the most recent save in Edit Mode. |
Cancel | Discard all changes made after the most recent save. The tab will revert to Read Only Mode. |
To complete the
PGA Header
, enter the appropriate information in the fields listed below:Fields | Description |
|---|---|
HTS Number | The HTS Number from the Global Classification product record. This field will be disabled and automatically populated based on the product record. |
Commercial Description | A clear description of the commercial line item in English. Provide the description according to other agency instructions. |
Once the data in these fields has been filled out, click
Save
and proceed to the lower sections of the PGA Header
tab.
