In the married filing joint locator, go to Organizer

, Separate Returns from Joint Data
.

Select MFS Returns from MFJ
.

Select the first task to calculate MFS tax without creating 2 new returns
.

Enter all applicable TSJ ownership codes for the joint return.

Perform a full recompute.

Select Calculate Tax for Separate Returns
and then OK
.

When the calculation's complete, select OK
.

To view a detailed report of the tax calculations, select View Comparison Schedule
