Go to the Tax Forms

folder.

Go to the (Residency
), 3805V – NOL/Disaster Loss
folder.

If this is a resident, then Page 1
, Line 25 - Current Year NOL
needs to be populated.

If this is a nonresident/part year resident, then Page 2
, Line 25
needs to be populated.

If neither of those are populated, then Page 3
, Line 5
, or Line 6
needs to be populated.

Run a full compute and print the return.

To force print the return:

Go to the Organizer

, then the California
folder.

Go to the Return Options
folder.

Go to the Print Options
section and mark the Form 3805V
field.

Run a full compute and print the return.
