Form 8879 print requirements

To print Form 8879, California e-file Signature Authorization for Individuals:

Go to the Organizer
, Payments and Extensions
, Extensions
folder.

Go to the State Options and Payments
tab.

Go down to California
and select something other than Option 5
.

Go to the Organizer
, E-file
, Enable/Create
folder.

On the Extension
tab, mark the field Enable
in column B
for California
.

Go down to the Signature Authorization
folder.

In the Signature Options
section, select Self-select PIN
.

In the section Pin Entered By
, make sure ERO
is selected.

Under the Pin Information
section, make sure that this is filled out.

Run a full compute and print the return.

To force print the return:

Go to the Organizer
, State
, then the California
folder.

Go to the Return Options
folder.

Go down to the Print Options
section and mark the field Form 8879
.

Run a full compute and print the return.
