Form CT-6251 print requirements

To calculate and print Form CT-6251 Connecticut Alternative Minimum Tax Return – Individuals:

Go to Organizer
, States
, then Add States/Cities
. Select R
, PY
or NR
for Connecticut.

In the Payments and Extensions
folder select Extensions
.

In the
State Options and Payments
tab select Option 3
, 4
or 5
for Connecticut.

In the Connecticut
folder, then go to Taxes
.

In the AMT
section mark the Force Print CT-6251
checkbox.

Go to Tax Forms
, Federal
, then Form 6251- Alternative Minimum Tax Page 2
. Enter a positive amount on Line 35
.

Do a full recompute, then print.
