Form D-400 print requirements

To print or calculate Form D-400, Income Tax Return.

Go to Organizer
, then the States
folder.

Select Add States/Cities
. For North Carolina
select an option other than B - None selected (Default)
.

Go to the Payments and Extensions
folder.

Select Extensions
and go to State Options and Payments
tab.

For state North Carolina
set the option to 2
, 3
, 4
, or 5
instead of 1
.

Go to the E-file
folder and select the Return
tab.

For state North Carolina
, clear column B
(Enable) and select the option column P
(Paper file).

Do a full recompute, then print.
