Form IN-153 print requirements

To print form IN-153, Vermont Capital Gains Exclusion Calculation:

Go to Tax Forms
,States
,Vermont
, and select IN-112 Tax – Adjustments and Credits
.

Make sure you have an amount on Part I
, Line 8
for Capital Gains Exclusion.

Alternatively, go to Organizer
, States
,Vermont
, and select Return Options
.

In the Print Options
section, check the checkbox for Form IN-153
.

Do a full recompute, then print.

If the form is still not printing, ensure you haven’t suppressed it with your extensions:

Go to Organizer
, Payments and Extensions
,Extensions
, and select the State Options and Payment
tab.

In the Extension Tax Options
section, make sure you have selected option 3
, 4
, or 5
on the Vermont
row.

Do a full recompute, then print.
