Enter foreign tax credit information into source documents
If you enter foreign tax credit information into a source document, confirm the foreign country name and income type selected on the source document match the foreign country name and income type entered in the Foreign Credit Information screen.
- Go toOrganizer,Source Documents,1099-INT / 1099-OID,[payer name],Foreign country or US possession.
- Review your selection for foreign country name and income type.
- To transfer data to the Foreign Tax Credit screen, go toOrganizer,Foreign Information,[foreign country name],Foreign Tax Credit Information, and thenForeign Tax Credit Information. Select the same foreign country name and income type on this screen that you did in step 1.
