When you e-file, it is mandatory to enable partner name and footnotes as follows:

Form name: EFILE K1/ Field name: PARTNER NAME Form name: PARTNER FOOTNOTES/ Field name: PARTNER FOOTNOTE NUMBER

Go to Organizer, then Partner Information, then Common Partner Data, and the Direct K-1 Import
tab.

In the section Enable Electronic K-1 Filing
, select the option for Enable Direct K-1 Import
to replace the systems Schedule K-1s.

Go to Federal E-file, then Enable E-file, then the Enable E-file
tab.

Select Enable federal e-file

Go to Federal E-file, then Enable E-file, then the Direct K-1 Import
tab.

Select Enable Direct K-1 Import
