The date is wrong in Part II of Federal Form 8879-PE when the General Partner Date Signed
field has an override or incorrect date entry.

The Part II date on Form 8879-PE may be incorrect due to an override or outdated date in the signature authorization settings.

Follow these steps to correct the date.

Go to

Organizer
Federal E-file
Signature Authorization

Select the fields with 4 dots ([....]) to expand them.

Remove the override on the line General Partner Date Signed
, or update the date if necessary.

Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
