Form 05-165 print requirements

Refer to the following print requirements to print Form 05-165.

To print and populate Texas 05-165, Franchise Tax Extension Affiliate List:

Before you begin, make sure all severe diagnostics are cleared.

Select Organizer
, States
, Texas
, then General Information
.

In the General Information
section, make sure the Combined Report
checkbox is not marked.

Select Organizer
, States
, Common State
, then Estimates and Extensions
.

Go to the Extension
tab and make sure the Texas
checkbox is marked.

Enter information for the Reporting Entity
and Affiliate Details
.

Select Organizer
, States
, then Texas
and select Combined Return Information
.

Complete both Reporting Entity
and Affiliate Details
.

note

You'll need begin dates and end dates for both.

If the form doesn’t print, check if it's suppressed:

Select Organizer
, States
, then Common State
.

Select Print Suppression
and make sure the checkbox in the State Forms
column is cleared for Texas
.
