Refer to the following print requirements to print Form 05-170.

To calculate and print Texas form 05-170 Franchise tax payment form:

Before you begin, make sure all severe diagnostics are cleared.

Select Tax forms
, States
, Texas
, then 05-158
.

Select 05-158-B page 2
.

Make sure Line 30 has a tax rate.

Select Tax forms
, States
, Texas
, then 05-170
.

Make sure Total Amount due and payable has data.

If the form doesn’t print, check if it's suppressed:

Select Organizer
, States
, then Common State
.

Select Print Suppression
and make sure the checkbox in the State Forms
column is cleared for Texas
.

Select Organizer
, States
, then Texas
, then Return Options
to force print.

Go to the Force Print
section, and make sure the Form 05-170
checkbox is marked.
