Form 1CNP print requirements
Generate and print Form 1CNP, Composite Wisconsin Individual Income Tax Return for Nonresident Partners.
To qualify for inclusion in the Wisconsin composite return, each partner must meet both of the following conditions:
- The partner must be a nonresident of Wisconsin.
- The partner must have an entity type of Individual or Grantor Trust.
Form 1CNP prints when there is income present on Page 1, line 1, and shows tax due on line 6 or an overpayment amount on line 7.

You can file this return electronically. This is done separately from Form 3.

- Mark the checkbox forWisconsinfor each partner that is to be included in the return.notePartners must be nonresident to Wisconsin and have an entity type ofIndividualorGrantor Trust.

- For each partner, ensure there is anXin theWIcolumn.
- Drive the partner's share of income by completing the Wisconsin 3K-1s. To qualify using the 3K-1 method, both of the following conditions must be met:
- A 3K-1, Column E must be populated.
- Page 2 of the 3K-1, line 22 must have a gross income threshold of $2,000.
noteAlternatively, if you want to generate the composite return independently of the 3K-1s, mark the checkbox to bypass the 3K-1 Column E prerequisite. This bypasses both the Column E requirement and the $2,000 threshold, leaving only the entity type and nonresident status filters active. You can then use overrides in the Wisconsin composite return Organizer that can be specially allocated to transfer to Form 1CNP, Page 2. - Go to .
- Go to1CNPand ensure there is an amount online 1.noteThe form shows tax due online 6or an overpayment amount online 7.
- Do a full compute and print the return.
If the form doesn't print, check if it's suppressed:
