Form 8858 print requirements
Form 8858 doesn't print at the TopCon (consolidation) level. Print this form from the member or sub-level where you entered the data.
To print Form 8858, Information Return of U.S. Persons With Respect to Foreign Disregarded Entities (FDEs) and Foreign Branches (FBs):
- Enter Form 8858 data at the lower member level (Division, Parent, or Subsidiary). Go to .
- Do a full recompute.
- Print the form from the member or sub-level where you entered it. Generate a print preview, or go to . Select the Binder Group, selectNext, then selectPRINT foreign entity forms.
- For consolidated returns, enter Form 8858 data at the parent and subsidiary or division levels only. Entries at the TopCon or DivCon level won't appear in printed output.
If the form doesn't print, check if it's suppressed:
- Go to . ClearSuppress the print of all Forms 8858s.
- Do a full recompute, then print.
To check individual entity print settings:
- Go to . EnsureForm 8858is marked (not suppressed).
- Do a full recompute, then print.

While Form 8858 doesn't print at TopCon, it's included in the federal XML/e-file.
