Form 1125-E print requirements
Form 1125-E, Compensation of Officers, prints when a corporation's total receipts equal $500,000 or more and you enter officer compensation data in the Organizer.
To print, calculate, or suppress Form 1125-E, Compensation of Officers:
- Go to .
- On theEntity Informationtab, go to theReturn/Entity Typesection.
- Select one of the following as theReturn type:
- 1120
- 1120-C
- 1120-F
- 1120-REIT
- 1120-RIC
- 1120S
- Go to .
- In theForm 1125-E Printoptions, selectForce Printand clear any selection forSuppress Print.
- SelectIndividual Officer, thenAdd, and enter the officer information.
- Do a full recompute, then print.
Data entry requirements
Complete Form 1125-E when the corporation's total receipts (line 1a plus lines 4 through 10 on page 1 of Form 1120) equal $500,000 or more. Enter this information under .
Print only the total compensation amount
If you enter individual officer data, but want line 2 of Form 1125-E to show only the total amount of officers' compensation:
- Go to .
- SelectPrint "Information available in Taxpayer's Office". This option is available for both federal and state returns.
Consolidated returns
For consolidated returns, you can print Form 1125-E detail two ways: print a single set of officers from the consolidation directly on the form, or print officer detail for each member of the consolidation as a statement to Form 1125-E.
To print officer detail on a statement:
- Enter officer compensation detail for each member of the consolidation, as needed. The application consolidates this information.
- Print Form 1125-E from the TopCon return. The form showsSee Statement, and the application prints officer detail for each member return on the statement, 1 member after another.
To print officer detail directly on the form:
- Enter officers' compensation detail in the Organizer for the TopCon return.
- Go to .
- Mark the 1st checkbox on the screen,Print Officer Compensation off the consolidated return. When you mark this option, the application prints only the detail you entered at the TopCon.

E-file requirements
For e-filing, column A (Name of officer) and column B (Social Security number) are optional, but columns C through F are required. You can't select
