Form 20C print requirements

Form 20C prints when it's not suppressed and Alabama is activated. For a multistate corporation, change the entity type to a filing entity.
To print Form 20C, Alabama Corporation Income Tax Return:
  1. In the
    Organizer
    , select
    States
    , then
    State and City Activation
    .
  2. Mark the
    Alabama
     checkbox.
  3. Do a full recompute, then print.
If the form isn't printing, make sure it's not suppressed:
  1. In the
    Organizer
    , select
    States
    , then
    State and City Activation
    .
  2. Make sure the checkbox for
    Financial Return
     in
    Column F
     of
    Row 4
     for
    Alabama
     isn't marked.
  3. On the same screen, make sure you haven't selected
    Top Consolidation
     as the
    Entity Type
     in
    Column E
     of
    Row 4
     for
    Alabama
    .

Multistate corporation

For non-filing entities (part of a combined group), Box 5 for
Proforma Return
 should be selected. If you're filing an Alabama return from this entity, change the entity type to a filing entity.
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    State and City Activation
    State and City Activation
    .
  2. Change the entity type to
    Single
    .
  3. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Alabama
    Allocation and Apportionment
    .
  4. Make selections for Boxes 1-4.
    note
    For Box 2, leave as
    None Selected
  5. Do a full recompute, then print.
