California composite return print requirements
All California nonresident shareholders need to file Form 540NR, Nonresident Income Tax Return with Form 1067A, California Nonresident Group Return Schedule and Form 3864, California Group Nonresident Return Election.
- Go toOrganizerand selectStates.
- SelectCaliforniathenComposite Returns.
- SelectComposite Return Information, then select theCheck to include all nonresident shareholders on 1067A, Part Icheckbox.
- Use the rest of the fields on this screen to enter composite information.
- For specific nonresident shareholder information, go to theNonresident Shareholder Informationscreen.
- Enter electing nonresident director information on theElecting Nonresident Director Infoscreen.
- Do a full recompute and print the return.
