Form CD-405 print requirements

To print Form CD-405, C Corporation Tax Return:
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    .
  2. Go to the
    Return / Entity Type
     section.
  3. Select
    1120S – U.S. Corporation
     for
    Return type
    .
  4. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    .
  5. Select
    Print Options
    , then
    Print Suppression
    .
  6. Go to the
    Suppression MD-RI
     tab.
  7. Make sure
    North Carolina
     is cleared in the
    State Forms
     column.

Schedule A Line 2 blank on Final returns

Solution 1: Remove the Final return designation
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    .
  2. On the
    Return information
     tab, uncheck column H for North Carolina.
  3. Run a full recompute.
note
Line 2 and Line 6 now populate as expected.
Solution 2: Override the amount directly
If you need to keep the Final return designation:
  1. Enter the amount directly on Form CD-405, Page 1, Line 2.

This override doesn't affect other calculations in the return.
