Form BUS-EXT print requirements
Starting with the tax year 2024, Rhode Island provides taxpayers with the option to file extensions using traditional paper forms or through e-filing.
To print the filing instructions for an e-file extension, turn on the extension e-file setting.
- InOrganizer, selectStates.
- SelectState E-file, then theEnable/Create Extensionstab.
- Go toRhode Island, inColumn C, selectEnable.
- SelectStates, thenCommon state.
- SelectEstimates and Extensions, thenEstimates and Extension.
- Go toRhode Island, then inColumn B, selectOn Extension.
- Do a full recompute, then create the e-file again.
