Schedule UB West Virginia UBCR not populated

The West Virginia UBCR field isn't populated in the Schedule UB XML for 1120 combined group entities. This occurs when the group number isn't selected for entities in the combined group.

Method 1: Group number override

  1. At the Parent and all Subsidiary levels, go to
    Organizer
    States
    West Virginia
    General Information
    General Information
    Combined information
    Group Number for UB 1, UB2 and UB 3 (Override for Parent and Subsidiary's Only)
    .
  2. Select a group number besides
    None selected (Default)
    .
  3. This should be populated if any company has an apportionment factor. Review the Parent and all Sub locators.
  4. Perform a full recompute at the Parent level, then consolidate at the TopCon.
  5. Go to
    Organizer
    Consolidated Returns
    Step 1 - What to Consolidate
    Consolidated Return List
    .
  6. Select
    Subsidiary Listing Complete
    .
  7. Go to
    Organizer
    Consolidated Returns
    Step 4 - Review Preconsol Checklist
    Out of balance and compute pending
    .
  8. Select
    Compute subsidiaries with compute pending
    .
  9. Complete
    Step 5 - Consolidate
    .
  10. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.

Method 2: Use current group number assignment

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    West Virginia
    General Information
    General Information
    COMBINED INFORMATION
    Line Current group number assigned (Use override below to change)
    .
  2. Enter information for the Parent and all Subs.
  3. If you can't select the field for any entity, contact your administrator.
  4. Perform a full recompute at the Parent level, then consolidate at the TopCon.
  5. Recreate the e-file.
