About Data Connection

Data Connection's a tax compliance productivity tool you can use to import data into and export data from tax returns.

Data Connection won't be available starting with tax year 2024. All fields you've had available to you in Data Connection and Return XML Import Export are now available in the Tax Return Import Export feature. To support this transition, you need to move your adjust your processes to use Tax Return Import Export before tax year 2024.
Use Data Connection when:
  • you want to automate processes and remove data entry requirements
  • you use an API to improve efficiencies or with web services to execute the data connection call instead of manually importing
  • no other import capability is available
Go to file downloads to get the file sets.
