R0000-204 e-file error
R0000-204: If 'QualifiedBusinessIncomeDedAmt' in the return (1040, 1040NR, 1041) has a non-zero value, then one and only one Form 8995 or Form 8995A must be present in the return.
This happens when an amount was entered for the qualified business income deduction and there is not a Form 8995 or Form 8995A present.
Solution
- In the Organizer, selectGeneral Information.
- SelectReturn and Print Options - Irrevocable, thenGeneral Options.
- In theQBI Print Optionssection, turn off all print selections.
- Do a full recompute.
- Turn on the print selections.
- For Form 8995 Line 17, enterNONE.
- Do a full recompute.
- Recreate the e-file.
