You get this error when the return doesn't conform to the IRS specifications for electronic filing.
Error message
The XML data has failed schema validation.
Solution
- Make sure there are no reject diagnostics or validation errors.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
- If you still receive this error, contact Support.
