FIN-035 e-file error

Error

You cannot request a future payment date for returns submitted after the original due date. The Payment Date must be blank or the same as the return submitted date. Exception - If the original due date is between April 1, 2023 and June 1, 2023, you may request a future payment date up to June 1, 2023. (FIN-035)

Cause

You're trying to request a future payment date beyond the original due date.

Solution

  1. Go to
    States
     in the
    Organizer
    .
  2. Select
    Common State
    , then
    Bank Information
    .
  3. Change the
    Date Amount to be
     Debited to the date you're filing the return.
  4. Complete a full recompute, then recreate the XML.
  5. Resubmit the return.
