SK3-F1065-009 e-file error

SK3-F1065-009: If Schedule K-3 (Form 1065)for Partner "true" , 'PartIIIAttachedInd' has a choice of "Yes" indicated, then 'SchK2K3REExpnssApprtnFctrGrp' or 'SchK2K3IntExpnsApprtnFctrGrp' or 'SchK2K3FDIIDedApprtnFctrsGrp' or 'SchK2K3ForeignTaxesGrp' or 'SchK2K3OtherTaxInformationGrp' must have a value.
This happens when Schedule K-3 for a partner exists and a Part III attachment indicator is marked as Yes but data entry from the K2/K3 is missing.

Solution

If using the organizer data entry:
  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    Federal
    Schedule K-3 - Partner International
     folder.
  2. Select
    [Partner Name]
     and look for
    Schedule K-3, Page 1
    .
  3. Review Item E, Line 3. If this line is marked
    YES
    , part III must have a value or may enter
    NONE
     instead.
If using K-1 aggregation:
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Federal E-file
    Attachments
    .
  2. Under the
    K-1 aggregation
     folder, continue
    to K-1 Aggregation
     subfolder.
  3. Review and correct the K-1 Aggregation file and re-import on the return.
