F565-067 e-file error
This error occurs when the
Total Asset
field on Form 565, Page 1 is blank and Question P isn't Yes
.Error message
CA Rule F565-067: Form 565, Side 1 Total asset at EOY must have data unless Side 2, Line P is checked "Yes".
Solution

- Review theASSETSfield. If there's noTotal Assetamount, Question P needs to be answeredYes.
- Go to .
- ForQuestion P(Does the partnership meet all the requirements shown in the instructions for Question P?), selectYes.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
note
If the
Total Asset
field is blank, don't enter NONE
. If you can't select Yes
for Question P and the assets field is blank or zero, you'll need to paper file the return.
