Error: Field ‘PartnerAddress’ is unexpected

This validation error occurs during Colorado Form 106K e-filing when a partner's Social Security number or EIN is set to “Applied For” instead of an actual identification number.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Partner by Partner Data
    [NAME]
    Partner Information
    .
  2. Select the
    Partner Information
    tab and go to the
    SSN \ EIN
    section.
  3. Change the selection from
    Applied For
    to
    SSN \ EIN (Default)
    .
  4. Enter the SSN for individual partners, or the EIN for entity partners.
  5. Run a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
note
If the partner is a foreign partner without a SSN or TIN, enter
000-00-0000
for individual foreign partners or
00-0000000
for entity foreign partners.
