Solution
You can't electronically file extensions for Connecticut when there's a mismatch between the extension year and the locator year. For example, filing a 2025 extension from a 2024 locator or a 2026 extension from a 2025 locator triggers this error.
You'll need to paper file the Connecticut extension.
