ILHeader-Corp-3700-2 e-file error

You'll receive this message if the signature date and email are missing in the Preparer Information tab.

Error messaage

ILHeader-Corp-3700-2: If preparer name is present and preparer is not self-employed, then preparer's signature date, PTIN, preparer firm's name and EIN, preparer's US address or foreign address, and preparer's domestic or foreign phone must be provided.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    .
  2. Select
    General Information
    , then
    Paid Preparer Information
    .
  3. Select the
    Preparer information
     tab.
    note
    The signature date may need to be today's date. Make sure the preparer information is filled out completely.
  4. Enter the email in
    Column G
     and the signature date in
    Column H
    .
  5. Do a full recompute then recreate the e-file.
