E-file diagnostic: Form 114.7 Schedule A, Line 1a must equal to Schedule B, Line 9

NYC E-File: According to NYC business rules, Form 114.7 Schedule A, Line 1a must equal to Schedule B, Line 9
This happens when Form 114.7 Schedule A, line 1a doesn’t equal Schedule B, line 9 usually due to overrides on the form.

Solution

  1. Go to the
    Tax Forms
    , then
    Cities and Intangibles
     folder.
  2. Select
    New York City
    , then select the
    114.7
     folder.
  3. Go to the
    Line 1a
    , if there is an override on that line remove the override.
  4. Go to the
    Override or Imported or Rolled Over 0 Partner Name
     section.
  5. Run a full recompute, recreate the e-file.
note
The detail from Schedule B line 9 will pull to Schedule A, line 1a so if it isn’t populating, then you will have to populate Schedule B to have it transfer.
