E-file diagnostic: IT-204-LL ERO/Preparer Certification or Self Filer Declaration
IT-204-LL: Must check either ERO/Preparer Certification or Self-Filer Declaration. Both can NOT be selected at the same time. Go to Organizer / States Folder / Electronic Filing - IT-204-LL / Additional Information Screen / Electronic Signature.
This happens when you have checked both ERO/Preparer Certification or Self-Filer Declaration check boxes.
Solution
- In Organizer, selectStates, thenNew York, thenE-file.
- SelectAdditional Information.
- Go to eitherERO/Preparer Certification and Signature (IT-204)orSelf Filer Declaration and Signature (IT-204)section.
- Select either one of the optionsI have read the certification above and agree.
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.noteBoth sections cannot have the box checked. Please choose which one you are using ERO or Self Filer and check the box to agree to its terms.
