F58-004 e-file error
F58-004: Total North Dakota withholding on Form 58, line 4 must equal the sum of North Dakota withholding from all 1099-MISC and North Dakota Schedule K-1s submitted with the return.
This happens when North Dakota 58, Page 1 Line 4 doesn't match the total of North Dakota withholding from all 1099-MISC and North Dakota Schedule K-1s.
Solution
- Go toTax Forms,States,North Dakota.
- The amount for Form 58, 58, Page 1, Line 4 needs to match all 1099-MISC and/or North Dakota Schedule K-1s.
- Go toOrganizer,States,North Dakota.
- SelectPassthrough Entity Information, thenAdd New ND Sch K-1 (Received) Info.
- Complete the information forND SCHEDULE K-1 (RECEIVED). Make sure that theNorth Dakota income tax withheldequals Line 4 on Form 58.
- Perform a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
