F3-3K1 e-file error
F3-3K1 PartnerSSN: Wisconsin Form 2K-1 Partner Information Individual missing PartnerSSN. Please check Partner id is the correct format xxx-xx-xxxx or if Partner Name should be formatted as an Individual.
This happens when first, middle, and last names are entered for partners that aren't individuals.
Solution
- Go toOrganizer, then thePartner Informationfolder.
- Go toPartner by Partner Data, thenColumnar Partner Entry, andReformat Partner Name for State Purpose.
- Remove the first, middle, and last name from partners that aren't individuals.
- Go to theName and Addresstab.
- In the SSN/EIN column correct any SSN number format for partners that are “Individual”. Format of the SSN should be XXX-XX-XXXX.
- Perform a full recompute, recreate the e-file, then resubmit.
note
- If you are doing a K-1 aggregation or a Direct K-1 import then you will have to fix your file and re-import your file.
- To see which partners are incorrectly formatted, check your Validation Errors by going toView, thenDiagnostics. They will identify which partners are incorrectly formatted.
