Error: Print Status: Error

The print status shows as Error when you try to create an e-file error for a Federal 1120 return. This can happen due to consolidation settings, entity type configuration, or e-file attachments.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Print
    Options section
    .
  2. Clear the checkbox for
    E-file Attachments
    .
  3. Select
    Create Print File
    .
    1. If you're using print returns with attachments, make sure:
      1. The files aren't 0 or missing.
      2. The PDF name is 23 characters or less, and contains only letters and numbers.
  4. For Consolidated returns, make sure the structure is correct and consolidate before generating the e-file.
