Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Bank Information
    Extension - Debit
    tab.
  2. Enter all the required bank information (routing number, bank account number, amount, and date to be debited).
  3. Select
    ACH Debit
as the payment method. This is the only method Connecticut takes for e-filing.
  4. If you've already made the payment, enter it on the extension form and submit a 0 extension.
  5. If there's no amount due, don't mark the checkbox to authorize a debit.
  6. If you don't want to use ACH Debit or prefer EFT or another payment method, you'll need to paper file the extension.
