If there is an amount due, enter the required bank information. Include the routing number, account number, payment amount, and debit date.
Select
ACH Debit
as the payment method. Connecticut requires this payment method for electronically filed extensions with an amount due.
If the payment was already made, enter the payment on the extension form and submit a 0 extension.
If there is no amount due, don’t select the field to authorize debit.
To use EFT or another payment method instead of ACH Debit, paper file the extension.
Full recompute the return and recreate the e-file.
