This error occurs when the total compensation on District of Columbia Schedule C20 doesn't match the sum of all individual officer compensation amounts.

DCSCHC20-0001: SchC20, Totalcompensation must equal sum of all CompensationAmount

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Income and Deductions
    Deductions
    Officers Compensation
    Individual Officers
    Information available at taxpayer
    Compensation of Officers - General Information Section
    .
  2. Enter an amount in the
    Amount of compensation
     field.
  3. Make sure the total equals the amount reported on Federal 1120
    Line 12
    .
  4. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
