You get this error when Step 4, line 3 is greater than 0, and the corresponding FEIN has an "X" in Step 1, Section A, Column D.

Error message

ILSCHUB-1210-1: If SchIL1120UB Step 4 Line 3 is greater than 0, then Step 1 Sec A Col D of the corresponding FEIN cannot contain an "X".

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Illinois
    Combined Report
    Sch UB-Combined Apportionment for UBG
    Sch UB - Subsidiary Detail
    NAME
    Sch UB Page 4 - Step 4
    .
  2. Verify that line 3 is greater than 0.
  3. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Illinois
    Combined Report
    Sch UB-Combined Apportionment for UBG
    Sch UB - Member Information
    Subsidiary Information
    NAME
    .
  4. In Column D, remove the "X" for the corresponding FEIN.
  5. Space-bar override the field and lock it.
  6. Re-create the Illinois e-file.
